Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This choice stops the OpenAI advertising and measurement pixel and the Google Ads tag on this browser. They otherwise load when a page loads and are used to measure ads and leads.

1. About This Page

This page is provided in accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the CCPA). It is the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information and Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information page for GoldnBear Security, operated by GoldnBear Inc. (referred to as GoldnBear, we, us or our). This page was last updated on October 4, 2026.

The short version: the Site loads an OpenAI advertising and measurement pixel and a Google Ads tag when a page loads, unless you opt out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. They measure page visits, and the OpenAI pixel records a lead when a visitor submits a form or taps a phone number link, so we can measure ads and leads. That may count as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. The button on this page stops both on this browser. We do not use sensitive personal information to draw inferences about you.

2. Sharing Through the Advertising Pixel and Tag

The CCPA defines selling as disclosing personal information to a third party for money or other valuable consideration, and sharing as disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not money changes hands.

The Site loads a script from https://bzrcdn.openai.com/sdk/oaiq.min.js and starts an OpenAI measurement pixel with pixel ID SvEb4UsvZMWB8AMGhZKDA3. It runs on page load. When a visitor submits a form or taps a phone number link, our code sends a lead event named lead_created with a type of customer_action. We use the pixel to measure ads and leads. The lead event our code sends does not include the name, email address, phone number, or message from the form. The Site also loads the Google tag script from https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js and configures it with the Google Ads ID AW-799391813. It runs on page load so page visits can be measured for Google Ads. Our code does not send it a lead event or anything typed into a form. These uses may count as sharing under the CCPA.

Choosing Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information on this page stores an opt-out in this browser and the pixel and the tag do not load. Global Privacy Control does the same. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 on the Site.

3. Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

Sensitive personal information under the CCPA includes items such as Social Security, driver's license, and passport numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, the contents of private mail, email, and text messages, genetic and biometric data, health information, and information about sex life or sexual orientation.

GoldnBear does not request sensitive personal information through the Site and does not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers. If you voluntarily include sensitive details in a free-text message or a telephone call, we use them only to respond to your request and for the other purposes that the CCPA permits without a right to limit, such as ensuring security, preventing fraud, and complying with the law. You may still submit a limitation request using the contact methods below, and we will confirm our practices in writing.

4. Global Privacy Control

GoldnBear honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information, as required by California law. GPC is a browser setting or extension. When the Site detects a GPC signal, it does not load the OpenAI advertising and measurement pixel or the Google Ads tag.

GPC applies to the browser and device that sends it. If you use more than one browser or device, enable GPC on each of them, or use the button on this page on each browser. If you have also given us your contact information, for example through a quote request, and you want the opt-out applied to the information we store about that request, contact us using one of the methods below. Instructions for enabling GPC are at globalprivacycontrol.org.

5. How to Opt Out

Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information button on this page to stop the pixel and the tag on this browser. That choice is stored in your browser and takes effect without an account and without identity verification. You can also contact us to opt out of sharing of information you already sent us, such as a quote request. You may use any of the following methods.

  • On this page: select Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. The OpenAI pixel and the Google Ads tag will not load in this browser.
  • Email: send a message to ceo@goldnbearsecurity.com with the subject line Do Not Sell or Share, or Limit Sensitive Information.
  • Telephone: call (213) 864-7178 and tell us that you are making a California privacy opt-out request.
  • Website form: use the contact form on the Site and state your request in the message field.
  • Mail: write to GoldnBear Inc., Attention: Privacy, 811 W 7th St, Los Angeles, CA 90017.
  • Global Privacy Control: enable GPC in your browser, and the Site will not load the pixel or the tag.

6. What Happens After You Opt Out

The browser button takes effect immediately for later page loads and for the lead event: the pixel and tag scripts are not added, and a form submission or a phone-number link tap does not send lead_created. If the pixel or the tag already sent a page-view event earlier in the visit, our code cannot recall that event. We will act on email, phone, form, and mail opt-out requests as soon as feasible and no later than 15 business days after we receive them. We will not ask you to verify your identity for an opt-out of sale or sharing, but we may ask for the email address or telephone number you used so that we can find a record of a request you sent us.

We will not treat you differently for opting out. The Site and our services stay available on the same terms. You can allow the pixel and the tag again on this browser with the control on this page. If you clear this site's data, the stored opt-out is removed until you set it again, unless GPC is still on.

If we deny a request because we have a good-faith, reasonable, and documented belief that it is fraudulent, we will explain why, and you may ask us to reconsider by emailing ceo@goldnbearsecurity.com. You may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov or the California Attorney General's Office at oag.ca.gov/privacy.

7. Authorized Agents

You may authorize another person or a business, such as a privacy service, to submit an opt-out or limitation request on your behalf. The agent must provide signed, written permission from you or a copy of a power of attorney that is valid under the California Probate Code. We may deny a request from an agent that does not include this documentation, and we may contact you directly to confirm that the request is genuine. Agents may submit requests using the email, phone, form, or mail methods above. Please include the words Authorized Agent in the subject line or message. The button on this page only affects the browser where it is clicked.

8. Where the Choice Is Stored

The Do Not Sell or Share choice, and a detected GPC signal, are stored in this browser under the local storage key gnb-consent and a first-party cookie with the same name. They are not an account on our servers. The choice applies to this browser only. It is not linked to your name unless you also contact us and we match it to a quote or other record. It will be lost if you clear site data, use a different browser or device, or browse in a private window that does not keep the data. GPC still blocks the pixel and the tag in a private window when the browser sends the signal.

Your accessibility widget settings are stored separately and are described in our Accessibility Statement and Cookie Policy.

9. Other California Privacy Rights

California residents may also request access to the personal information we hold about them, ask us to delete it, ask us to correct it, and receive a copy in a portable format, and they are protected against discrimination for exercising these rights. Our Privacy Policy at https://goldnbearsecurity.com/privacy-policy explains each right, the verification steps we use, our response timelines, and how to appeal a decision. It also contains our Notice at Collection.
