About GoldnBear
Founded by veterans. Built on psychology.
GoldnBear Security began with a simple observation: almost every incident has a trigger, and if you remove the trigger, the incident never happens. Everything we do follows from that.
Our story
GoldnBear was founded by a group of veterans dedicated to safeguarding society both within and beyond the United States. With a deep investment in understanding human psychology and social behaviors, we established our base in Los Angeles, where we identified homelessness as a primary challenge. Immersing ourselves in this issue, we meticulously analyzed each incident and devised proactive strategies to prevent future occurrences.
Today, our preventative methods are integral to numerous major transitional housing facilities, reflecting our commitment to fostering safer communities through innovative solutions. After years in some of the riskiest jobs, we have developed a repertoire of specialized skills tailored for corporate, property and personal protection.
Our expertise includes private property protection, bodyguard and executive protection services, domestic conflict resolution, court cases, homeless shelters, handling aggressive employees, mediating tenant and landlord disputes, managing evictions, obtaining restraining orders, and more. We are also, to our knowledge, the only civilian company offering comprehensive all-terrain protection, whether in the air or underwater.
Since 2004 we have grown from a Los Angeles startup into a team that protects families, small businesses and national brands across all of Southern California, and the method has never changed: understand the people involved, remove the trigger, and prevent the problem.

What we stand for
Four things every client can count on
Veteran discipline
Planning, chain of command and calm under pressure come from years of military service, not a weekend training course.
Human intelligence
We read people before we read a floor plan. Social workers and behavioral specialists shape how every job is staffed.
Discretion by design
The best protection is the kind nobody notices. When a uniform would escalate, our agents disappear into the room.
