1. Our Commitment
GoldnBear Security, operated by GoldnBear Inc., is committed to ensuring that our website, https://goldnbearsecurity.com, is accessible to and usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that every visitor should be able to learn about our services, contact us and request a quote with ease, regardless of the technology they use or the way they perceive and interact with the web.
We consider digital accessibility to be part of our broader obligation to serve the public equally under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Unruh Civil Rights Act. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards as we add or update content.
2. Conformance Target
Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG defines requirements for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities. We are also working toward the additional success criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2, such as improved focus appearance, larger target sizes, consistent placement of help and reduced reliance on dragging movements.
We consider the Site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning that some parts of the content may not yet fully conform. The Known Limitations section below lists the areas we are aware of and how we are addressing them.
3. Measures We Take
We have taken the following measures to make the Site accessible and to keep it that way as it grows:
- Semantic HTML: pages are built with proper headings, lists, landmarks and native form controls so that assistive technology can understand the structure of each page.
- Keyboard navigation: every interactive element, including the navigation menu, buttons, links, forms and the accessibility widget, can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone in a logical order, with no keyboard traps.
- Visible focus states: a clear, high-contrast focus indicator shows where keyboard focus is at all times.
- Skip link: a skip to main content link appears as the first focusable element on every page so that keyboard and screen reader users can bypass repeated navigation.
- ARIA landmarks and labels: banner, navigation, main, complementary and contentinfo landmarks, and ARIA labels where native HTML is not sufficient, help screen reader users move around each page.
- Text alternatives: meaningful images carry descriptive alt text, decorative images are hidden from assistive technology, and icons are paired with text labels.
- Color contrast: text and interface components are designed to meet or exceed the WCAG minimum contrast ratios of 4.5 to 1 for normal text and 3 to 1 for large text and graphical objects, and color is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Resizable, responsive layout: content reflows without loss of information or functionality when text is enlarged up to 200 percent or when the viewport is as narrow as 320 pixels.
- Reduced motion: animations and transitions are minimized or disabled when your operating system or browser sends a prefers-reduced-motion signal, and no content flashes more than three times per second.
- Accessible forms: form fields have visible labels, clear instructions and error messages that are announced to assistive technology, and there are no time limits on completing a form.
- Accessibility review in our workflow: new pages and components are checked against WCAG criteria before they are published.
4. Accessibility Widget
In addition to designing the Site to be accessible by default, we provide an on-site accessibility widget, opened from a floating button that is available on every page. The widget lets you adjust the presentation of the Site to suit your needs. It offers the following tools:
- Text size: increase or decrease the size of all text in steps.
- Contrast: switch to a high-contrast mode that strengthens the difference between text and background.
- Dyslexia-friendly font: switch to a typeface designed to improve readability for people with dyslexia.
- Reduced motion: stop animations, transitions and auto-playing movement.
- Link highlighting: underline and highlight every link so that it stands out from surrounding text.
- Larger cursor: enlarge the mouse pointer so that it is easier to follow.
- Reading guide: display a horizontal guide that follows your pointer to help you keep your place while reading.
How Your Settings Are Stored
Your widget preferences are saved in your browser's local storage so that they are applied automatically the next time you visit the Site from the same browser and device. They are never sent to our servers, and you can clear them from within the widget or by clearing your browser data. The widget is a convenience and is not a substitute for the accessibility features built into your operating system, browser or assistive technology, which continue to work alongside it.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following limitations and are working to resolve them. If you encounter any barrier that is not listed here, please tell us using the feedback methods below.
- Third-party embeds: maps, review widgets, social media feeds and other content provided by third parties may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We provide text alternatives or direct links where possible and encourage the providers to improve their accessibility.
- Legacy PDF documents: some older PDF files, such as brochures or certificates, may not be tagged for screen readers. We are converting or replacing these files and will provide an accessible version or the same information in another format on request.
- User-generated content: reviews, testimonials and comments provided by clients or displayed from third-party review platforms may not include text alternatives or may use language that is not fully clear. We review this content when it is added but cannot always modify it.
- Content added by third-party tools: analytics scripts and consent banners provided by third parties are configured to be as accessible as possible, but their underlying code is controlled by the provider.
6. Feedback and Response Time
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of the Site, have a suggestion for improvement, or need assistance with any content or feature, please contact us using any of the methods below. We aim to acknowledge every accessibility request within 5 business days and to resolve the barrier, or provide the information in an alternative way, as quickly as possible after that.
To help us respond quickly, please tell us the web address of the page, the problem you encountered, and the browser and assistive technology you were using.

7. Alternative Formats and Telephone Assistance
If any content on the Site is not accessible to you, we will provide it in an alternative format on request, free of charge. Alternative formats include large print, accessible electronic documents such as tagged PDF or Word files, plain text sent by email, and reading the information to you over the telephone. Requests for alternative formats are handled within 5 business days.
Everything you can do on the Site can also be done by telephone. You can call (213) 864-7178 to ask questions, request a quote, schedule a site assessment, exercise your privacy rights or receive help completing the contact form. If you use a telecommunications relay service, dial 711 and provide our number. We are also happy to communicate by email at ceo@goldnbearsecurity.com if that is more accessible for you.
8. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
The Site is designed to be compatible with the browsers and assistive technologies listed below. It is not designed for browsers that are no longer supported by their manufacturers, such as Internet Explorer, and may not display correctly in them.
- Recent versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge on Windows and macOS.
- Safari on iOS and iPadOS, and Chrome on Android, including their built-in accessibility settings.
- Screen readers including VoiceOver on macOS, iOS and iPadOS, TalkBack on Android, and NVDA, JAWS and Narrator on Windows.
- Screen magnification, speech recognition software such as Dragon and Voice Control, switch access and keyboard-only navigation.
- Operating system settings for high contrast, larger text, reduced motion and dark mode.
9. Technical Specifications
Accessibility of the Site relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer or device:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- WAI-ARIA 1.2
- SVG for icons and graphics
How the Site Is Built
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used. The Site is built with a modern web framework and is rendered on the server so that content is available even when JavaScript is slow to load. If JavaScript is disabled, the core content and contact information remain available, although the accessibility widget and other interactive enhancements require JavaScript.
10. Assessment Approach
GoldnBear assessed the accessibility of the Site using the following approaches. Automated tools can identify only a portion of accessibility issues, so human evaluation and user feedback remain essential to our approach. We plan to engage an external accessibility audit as the Site grows and will update this statement with the results.
- Self-evaluation: our web team reviews pages and components against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria during design and development.
- Automated testing: we run automated accessibility checkers such as axe, Lighthouse and WAVE against each release to catch common issues such as missing labels, contrast failures and structural errors.
- Manual testing: we test with keyboard-only navigation and with screen readers on desktop and mobile devices.
- User feedback: barriers reported by visitors are logged, prioritized and addressed in our ongoing maintenance.
11. Enforcement and Formal Complaints
We hope to resolve any accessibility concern directly and quickly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your concern by writing to GoldnBear Inc., Attention: Accessibility Coordinator, 811 W 7th St, Los Angeles, CA 90017, or by emailing ceo@goldnbearsecurity.com with the subject line Accessibility Escalation. A member of our management team will review the matter and respond in writing within 10 business days.
You also have the right to pursue a formal complaint. Under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, you may file a complaint with the United States Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, at ada.gov or by calling the ADA Information Line at 800-514-0301 (voice) or 1-833-610-1264 (TTY). Under California law, including the Unruh Civil Rights Act (Civil Code section 51) and the Disabled Persons Act (Civil Code sections 54 through 55.3), you may file a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department at calcivilrights.ca.gov or pursue the other remedies available under California law. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can address the issue promptly.
12. Date of This Statement
This statement was prepared on September 24, 2026. It is reviewed at least annually and whenever significant changes are made to the Site, and it reflects the Site's current status as of that date. It was created with guidance from the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative's model accessibility statement. Previous versions of this statement are available on request.
